A Note on What We're Celebrating
Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of visionaries bet everything on the idea that freedom was worth fighting for — and this July 4th, as South Florida lights up the sky from Pompano Beach to West Palm Beach, we get to be the living proof that bet paid off. We are incredibly lucky to call this place home, and even luckier to celebrate it together.
Pro Tips for July 4th 2026 in South Florida
Arrive early — popular spots like Countess de Hoernle Park and Flagler Drive fill up fast. Plan to be there 60–90 minutes before fireworks.
Check each event's rules about pets, glass containers, drones, alcohol, and sparklers — policies vary by location.
Use rideshare or shuttles where available (especially Deerfield Beach's free Freebee service and Boca's trolley).
Beat the traffic — A1A closes at the Deerfield/Boca border from 7 PM, so plan your route accordingly if attending multiple events.
Bring: Blankets, lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, and a reusable water bottle (Boca's mobile water unit will provide free filtered water at Countess de Hoernle Park).
Or stay close to home…if your community has a clubhouse — check with your HOA or country club. Many communities like Heron Bay in Parkland, as well as Boca Bridges, and Lotus neighborhoods, host their own private July 4th pool parties and fireworks viewing events for residents.
